Hello all...finally was able to get out again for awhile Saturday. Thought I'd do some hunting at a local park. Wound up with $1.50 in clad, 2 wheats, and this nice little 1909 O Barber dime. Interesting hunt as the Barber dime is evident of target masking as you can see the rust staining on the face of the coin due to sitting in the ground next to iron or steel for years. Also one of the wheats gave off a good signal until I cut the plug at which time the signal turned to junk due to the fact that right below the wheat cent was a piece of folded aluminum. All in all it was a fun hunt. Especially with finding the Barber dime.
