Terry, these are good finds. Old swimming places are one of my favorites.  I have been hunting 2 years now and am yet to find a silver half. I always hunt around concrete steps and door openings around old building sites. Only problem is there are lots of rebar in some. I have been using a 5 inch coil and it works between the rebar on some. The other day I found an excellent wheaty at the edge of a slab of a picnic shelter. gambol

Ive found Franklins, and Walkers , in old ball fields, mostly in left and center field, check your area for some old clam bake groves also. You may find a Barber there. Good luck to all.....DW
