heres one for yous,
Recently I sold my fisher F2 to a member on our German forum for ?70,a few days later I recived a mail from him stating thet the F2 was not in working order, demanding his money back and saying the detetcor was trash,a few days later I recived it back, opend the package, switched it on and it was perfect, took it down to a large city park here in munich, searched for ca 2 hours and here are the results,I dont need to say no more,3 times silver,I love the cuff link I think it could be art nouveau (1920ties),broken part of a silver watch chain, and a silver pin badge,a few coins oldest 1913 reich 2pfennig,and lots of junk

People have a hard time thinking that you can learn a detector just by turning it on and it should work, every and i mean EVERY detector has a learning curve and you must put in many hours to learn each one. For you new members don't get discouraged keep reading and watching the videos several times and set up your gardens and keep going to your favorite place to hunt and soon you will love your detector.

well said, dinger 45,the thing on the german forum that the rest of the good folk think your trying to sell a dead horse,I think the person who bought it first switched it on in the house, well we all know how much metal is in a house,I dont think he even tried it out doors, any way Ive sold it,and its gone to a new home

watching the videos and reading the books are only half of it,you have to learn the detector.
Awhile back someone posted that they had bought a BH used it a day or so and took it back got a Garrett 250 used it a day or two took it back and bought a Mine lab its not going to make much different what  detector this person use's he wants instant gratification pockets full of gold and silver but is not willing to take the time to learn his detector.
Sorry that happen to you Mike know you don't want to look bad on the German forum but you returned his money so people will know you are not a scammer

hi seldom, some people think a detector is a magic wand,Things are sorted on the German forum, the problem is that 3 lads now want the f2,the origionl (first buyer who sent it back),is keeping his head down,I bought the f2 in England just over a year ago(199 pounds sterling) and its a great coin shooter, switch on and go detector,I found well over ?300 with it Ive got 2 minelabs so I just wanted to sell it,I dont use it any more, for ?70 its a give away, but I could not belive last night 3 pices of silver,I wanted to proove to my self that its still working,,,,well it proved its self to me,ok its not realy a deep seeker, still goes down a few CMs,and its a great interduction to this great hobby, detecting is all about luck, you can only find whats there in the ground,if its there,if there is no silver there your not going to find any silver,ok the minelab would of found them pices no problem,I was in the right place at the right time, and Im going back to night with the X-terra 705,hope to share some nice finds with yous tomorrow,
thanks again Mike

The f2 is a lot cheeper in the US,and as I said its a switch on and co detector, nice easy to use discrim notch,(4 tone)when I used it in the parks I notch the iorn and foil out,and the f2 dose the rest, there are always discussions between the garrett ace 150 and f2,but thats the way it goes.....still I love my minelabs Wink
