About 30 minutes after I went to one of my hunting grounds it started raining AGAIN  Angry...but heres what I did get today. 2 quarters, 5 pennys and that thing next to the water nozzle is the lid of a old make-up case. It has a cracked mirrior on the other side Rain rain go away!  Pray

Yep, I found another pc. of the ruler a few days back around the same place. Maybe more pcs. there hit by mower? Not like a tape measure though, its thick? ITS ALUMINUM,

[/quote]   I've never seen a pocket watch with a mirrior in it? I think its to small for a watch. Inch and 1/2 in Diameter. Its not showing the mirrior very well in the pic but its a mirrior...

Probably part of a carpenters folding ruler.....wood is most common, but I also have a steel one that used to belong to my grandfather

Congrats on the finds...rain never keeps us indoors for too long!! I plan on going back to the park on Sunday for some more silver or gold but I'm sure it will be pulltabs and aluminum cans.

BA, I did go back and look closer at it. It do's have a small hole at each end hence a folding ruler. I think you got it!!
