Sunday was a nice cool day, so we tried a site that has some 1812 background as we do find musket balls and fragments of hollow shot although there is no mention in our research something happened there.
The area is more park than anything else and well maintained so we have to exersize care when taking out targets.
Between us we found about a hundred coins nothing special 4 silver coins.
Some large pieces of Mortor shell 12" a single cannister shot and a bunch of musket balls.
I found another badge "not boy scout" but it is almost identicle to one I found ,many years before at the same place, the one on the left is silver found that about 8 years ago the new one is enameled brass, I think "sunday school" is what the S S means.
The neatest thing I found was the old brass screw driver, after examining it I gave it a shake and it rattled so after a little WD 40 I unscrewed it to find 3 more screw drivers inside.
...........HH....Johnnn
