Nice finds, Caleb!  It is always good to be reminded about the large amount of trash you dig up to get the goodies!  I fear too many beginners think it is all just a cake walk with the goodies just springing out of the ground and fighting to get into the goody bag!  Anyway, Good Job!     Detecting

Yeah I was hoping for some jewelery out at the lake, Im sure its out there, but wow I will have to clean out the trash in order to find it. Many, many more pull tabs and bottle tops to be pulled still. Thursday afternoon hit a remote swimming spot and found the quarters and dime right on the surface. Im going to give away one of my secrets here, I always detect where I see old tp in the bushes, it seems more coins are dropped by people dropping trou than the regular crowd, the penny and knife liner were close by. The woodchips were good to me this week as well with 2 quarters a dime and 2 nickels as well as several pennies and not a single pulltab : )

Just dont stick your coil in the poop  Cheesy the quarters were about a foot away from the tp at the swimming hole. I found lots of coins at a hunted out beach by hitting the hidey hole where all the gurls went to pee. Just wear your gloves and wash your loot!

Go Up Go Down

Thanks Guys, gotta add in todays take. Went down to the swimming hole around the corner and worked over the opposite side of the creek pretty well for a couple hours this morning. Big find of the day was my oldest penny to date a 1940 wheat. I didnt even realize I had gotten a wheat till I got home and cleaned off some of the coins.
{alt}
Trash and treasure, not shown about a 6" pulley and a whole beer can I pulled out of the ground as well, the square metal thing is made of copper but I have no idea what it is.

A closer shot of todays coinage
