Too hot in Chicago today for MD so went out to run some errands ans stopped by my favorite thrift store and grabbed some dirt cheap goodies. The first one was a nice 1970s Mickey Mouse child's stainless spoon by Bonny ($0.19), a well preserved vintage Cabin Still Kentucky Bourbon whiskey decanter bottle with mallard ducks ($1.99, too bad it was empty  Angry), and a nice bag of old tools ($1.99).

Well and also found what I needed, a stainless bar for my electrolysis project. Not bad for a hot day. Tomorrow after work will be MD time. Let's see what happens.  Wink

I meant the spoon only. Actually, the actual value of the spoon alone paid off for all other items.

I found the same spoon and fork combo in an apt that the resident had past away and they had no family. I play on ebay a little and the spoon and fork brought 56.00 to a couple in canada. So very nice find.

Very nice!! I looked for the fork like crazy at the thrift store, but could not find it. I know that they will put it up for sale later, but one never knows when. Thanks for the info.
