congratulations.....can we get a picture of the back?   and if possible either a closeup of the center of the piece or at least a description?   From here it looks vaguely religious (like a knight with his head bent in prayer standing behind a shield with a cross on it and the whole thing surrounded with the type of full body halo frequently found in Catholic renderings of saints.    Those pieces of information along with the measurements might help someone identify the piece for you.

The image in the middle is of Our Lady of Guadalupe who filled a peasants tunic with roses for him to deliver to the Bishop.  When he unfolded his tunic and the roses fell out a picture of the Holy Mother standing on a globe and surrounded by a full body shimmering halo.

Your eyes are better than mine, Gramps.    I knew it was a saint, but I couldn't see enough detail to tell more than that.   Knowing that it is Our Lady of Guadalupe should help
