I really like the ring on the left.   Is that a hunk of amber in it?

Not a bad days haul. Especially the amber ring, It looks like a custom build.  I wonder if the amber will polish up? Anyone know how?

Real amber, though considered a 'rock' or mineral is still just ancient resin. It polishes nicely using compounds and buffing wheel technique, but can be damaged if you let it get hot (take it easy). See if you can easily unseat the amber, then mount it to a dop stick to handle. This one I would start hand rubbing with 400 grit emery paper under a trickle of water. Be careful not to reduce it much in size! Go all the way to 1500 or 2000 grit before  hitting it with the polish. Very nice find!

Dave, its because they are NOT precious metal. I don't know what the clad coins are made from but it always turns when it is in the water. Nice thing about silver. It can be in the ground 60 years and when you dig it out and clean it off. It's silver.!!! I have found silver coins that were in acid soils for 50 or 60 years that are nearly dissolved but when you wipe them off they still shine.
