Go Up Go Down

Well, this morning, String and I went out to the local fairgrounds.  Since today was the first real day that everyone was suppose to be gone, it gave us a chance to do some detecting.  Found a lot of pop tabs, but also found a Master Lock, an EXTRA large safety pin, 2 different earring (and boy are they UGLY!), a broken flashlight, which, much to my surprise, still worked, and about $2.52 in clad coins.  Not bad for a few hours out!  And the weather, well, I couldn't have asked for better weather.  Cloudy skies, 75 degrees and a nice little breeze!  I wish everyday could have been like today was!!

Cloudy skies  75?  sounds like you two early birds got out & hit it at a good time. Congrats on more finds!

Yes, it was perfect weather for detecting.    We both were making decent finds and I even walked away with a 56 wheat cent.   Haven't dug a wheat in awhile.
