Go Up Go Down

This is the second post of a series of 3. After moving to another section of the woods, I came across with this tree with a lot of trash someone dumped by it. Sorry my camera was not available and I took a picture of the site with my phone, but my computer refuses to open the file.  No no! Well, I right away noted a bunch of train track spikes, some of which were never touched by a hammer.  Shocked , lots of corroded zinc pennies, some glassware, toys, a tool to remove nails, vintage decorations, two gold earrings, a horseshoe, a kitchen knife, two handcrafted copper bracelets, and a huge silver skull ring to be depicted in detail in part 3 (see Huge Skull Silver Ring). Amazing, I could not believe my eyes  Shocked. The spikes still have the train company initials and I'm pretty sure they are worth something; the tool was never used! I have no idea why someone dumped all of that in the woods, but finder keeper.  Great

My guess would be that it was stolen at some point and the person meant to go back and retrieve it after stashing it there but for what ever reason, never got back and you found it. Only a asumption but I think it kinda is a logical one, Z.

Actually, love to lose calories in the woods. The only problem in the woods are the mosquitoes  Angry They claim the woods as their kingdom. The Mosquitoes Kingdom  :-

The sweet thing about the woods is that you never know where the real treasure is. That forces one to look everywhere  Cool

Cool find. Must be pretty old. They don't make metal toys like that anymore. At least the 1940-50's?
