its always exciting to see that first glimmer of silver when you dig a target its still so surprising how clean and shiny they are after being buried for no telling how long in the ground new or old silver its still a fantastic feeling and very exciting to find thanks for the reply and may all your finds be silver and gold

it will come you`ll always remember your first silver it takes time and patience like today i searched a small yard here in the city where the house is almost 100 years old came up with out a silver and not even a wheat penny ended up with 6 quarters 5 dimes 2 nickels 17 pennies not one close to silver or being a wheat penny came to the conclusion that alot of fill dirt must  have been brought in if your finding wheat  pennies then the chances for silver is also there because silver was around when the wheats were thanks for the reply and may all your future finds be silver and gold

thanks chipthefinder this is a small city here in new york getting smaller everyday but there is still coins to be found there are local volunteer fire companies that are loosing members and closing where the fields where they held festivals are still there and vertually untouched but trying to get permission is hard and where youd think youd find really good stuff ends up not panning out so yes any coin or silver find is always exciting you just never know thansk for the reply and may all your finds be silver and gold
