what items have any of you found relating to ww2? I have had no such luck yet.

many people find a lot of bullets at training camps and such. the people who live in Europe tend to have better luck and come across some very interesting items. But in Canada you can still find badges and some interesting items if you know where to look

You'd be far better of looking for gold in Canada rather than WW2 relics, also a lot less dangerous  Detecting Here in Belgium farmer have to call in the bomb squad regularly because of un-exploded devices coming out of the ground when ploughing. Some of these are from WW1

Hi S F,
Heres a pic of some mortar shells I found at one location in Ontario, they are all live and ended up in a deep river as I didn't want to call the bomb guys in case they told us to stop detecting as we were finding some nice badges, I think we found them all as there have been no more located they were all water logged so safe. .......HH.......Johnnn.......they are all dated 1942.
