Ok, the photo Sucks coming of the Lap Top cam but eeea!

They tore down the old Movie theater in town a few weeks ago.

This Place dated back to the Camp Cody days back around 1917 years.

They Scraped off the first ten inches of dirt and put down Fill to level and make it all Purdy Like.

Man O Man I wish I got there before they did any of that.

Looky what I did find in the one spot they didn't scrap!

The Ol Garrett S3 Sang the Toon most well.

Ten Bottle Caps!   A few Beaver Tail Pull tabs.  Some chunks of Wire.  Peace of Barbed Wire Fence.

This was where the North End of the Building was around the corner from the Front door.

I know there are some Silver Quarters Some Place.

I don't know what they did after the Scraping.

Just Level or take it away?

Sad, Sad.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Nice coin, Homie!  Too bad you missed the prime hunting time.  I've done the same thing too many times to think about...   just ignore what was going on or didn't hear about it until it was too late!   I even wrote an article about "missed opportunities" and had it published in W&ET about 5 years ago.   Missed too many to think about.

But good find!  Great              Detecting
