Go Up Go Down

My daughter and I are working on completing the common coin album, but keep having problems finding these four dimes which are:
- 1969
- 1971
- 1972
- 1978-D

There's also an empty hole where it says "Roosevelt Reverse" but I don't know what that is?

Anway (attached) I've included a picture of my trading pile - which keeps getting bigger all the time. I've got several pennies, nickels and dimes so I'd be happy to trade with you, or if you want - I'd be happy to just paypal you the money for the dimes and postage if you like your choice.
What I have are ALL  in average circulated condition:
Pennies:
1960
1966
1964-D
1962-D (two of them)
1977-D

Nickels:
1962
1963
1964(six of them)
1969-S
1970-D
1977-D
1978

Dimes:

1966 (three)
1967 (three)
1972-D
1973

Thanks for your consideration!

I have the 1969, 1972 and 1978D. The 1971 was a low mint and harder to find. The obverse just means to flip a dime over and show the back to display the design. You can email your address to me at warrenmonty71@yahoo.com and I will send them to you for free and cover postage. I like to see kids getting involved in coin collecting. I also have a bunch on 1940's to 60's nickels if you have any empty spots let me know.....

Warren

Thanks! I'll check my nickels albums and see what's missing too! Appreciate it.

Well done! The Roosevelt reverse spot is for a single dime showing the reverse of the coin. Any date will do since they were all the same. Some coins, like the Lincoln penny, have more than one reverse side. There is the wheat back and memorial back.

The front of a coin is called the obverse of the coin.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Actually there are 7 major designs now.....the two that GD mentioned + the 4 200th birthday designs that came out in 2009 + the new shield ('preservation of the union') design which is the new "permament" design starting in 2010.

Just got the three dimes and that really cool mint 'Cheerios' 2000 penny too! My daughter liked that even more than the three dimes! You're great. 100 forum gold goes to you just to say thanks!
Now, all I need is that one 1971 Rosey and it's complete!
Thanks again.
