Well did some detecting today found another 2c piece (1979)and a 1c piece (1986) and a lot of 303 Shell's one 222 shell and then some that I have not had yet so I will need help to identify them. I will post some Pic's of them in the morning when there is day light BUT NO Kruger Rand dam that gold is playing hard to get LOL

Hello Guys ! I survived!! Back home from hospital! I definitely prefer to be on the " other side" of the operating table ! Still in pain but O.K. Thanx for yours moral support ! Now 6 weeks arm immobilization  but right arm still O.K. for swinging M.D ! just digging all this gold will be difficult , but I can leave it for Peter - I know , He love it !  Cheesy
Got some photos from the operation ( bloody disgusting !) , maybe will attach some sometime ! Shocked

Xavier, a photo of the Head stamps would help on those.

The first one, I'm clueless.

2nd looks like Brit 303.

3rd 45-70?

Last one is .38 specail I think.

Again Head Stamp is the key.

Yep I know but the thing is that the first one don't have a stamp and the third one I cant make out so will have to clean it more than I'd like to the third one is not a 38 too big I think that it's a 44 and like you said the second one is a 303. What should I use to clean them?

Xavier the first shell is a Martini Henry hard shell, 2nd is a .303, 3rd not sure... and 4th,you are right a 44 (officers revolver).... Nice finds.... Would also love to see a headstamp of the .303  :Smiley

Yeah that empty headstamp will be the Martini Henry, the nice thing on that is it is easy to see what it is..... Date is a problem though..... It will be interesting to see what you have there...  Great
