Lead is at R8.00 for sinkers (p/kg) so I get to sell my lead plus I get to test my detector plus I'm getting closer to that gold and I get to be outdoors

I have a giraffe walking about in the street looking for his tooth....  :Smiley I had better watch out for him  Funny

I also have a dish full of lead, mainly roof washers that I have collected over the years.... not as much as you have though  Coffee I have found gold is better for collecting, so I have gone that way  Great

I think that I'm going to start a new money system with all my lead and call it Xavier Pounds and I have some very good reason's to say this. Firstly the money that we have here rust's to nothing too bad that I did not take a photo of the one that I found on the beech LOL also lead is worth something and you can always use the coins as sinkers should the need arise. A coin could also be used as a pencil should you need to scribble something on a piece of paper. There are many things that one could do with these coins like lead washers for the roof or weights for wheel balancing and in a time of war you could use them to make bullets (grape shot)  Grin  so what do you think isn't that a good idea? LOL

Going  Detecting need more lead
