Goldnboy,

As with all the other crimes in this land of ours,,,,, my test coins were also stolen in the middle of the bush where nobody goes.... certain people can seem to sniff things out a mile away  Shocked the bush by me has also burnt down now from fires that we get at this time of the year   Devil

I was looking into another way of doing the tests, but just have not had much time to look at it lately  Coffee As for gold being on the surface,,,,, I have not found any there  :Smiley my coin was 6" down..... It could also be that Xavier has taken them before I arrived  Angry I will sort him out later  Club

One thing I can say about those photos is that those guys will not steal cable again  Wise it is not nice though.... a waste of a life  Amen

Hi Guys !
Glad , You enjoyed the photos ! This is unfortunately our reality , but looks like whole world is running mad -  looks what is happening in the Norway ?! - and that supposed to be one of the safest country in the world ! Thumbs Down Now , for a change I will present proof of my misery : on the photos from the operation , the white " string " is the muscle tendo which came out of the bone ! Now is re - attached ( hopefully , strong enough to carry MD !  Detecting )

Hi Peter !
Did You try some detecting lately ? How is the grass in the field ? I contacted the owner of the plot around the " Diamond Hill " battlefield and maybe I will try to do some walking next week there ?

Pgill, Ah- Yes, now I understand. I'm not familiar with that Darwin award. Though I imagine it has something to do with the inhabitants of the town of Mount Darwin. I was referring to the one on US TV where people do incredibly stupid things that wind up killing themselves. Like one guy that strapped a rocket booster to his Pontiac and crashed into the side of a mountain at a hundred miles per hour. By the way I read that there was gold in the vicinity of Mount Darwin but it was not being mined. Did you ever go to Rhodesia? gambol

I have been detecting a farm house where Gen. De Wet hid his wife during the Boer war..... interesting place.... near the Fredefort dome. Going out this afternoon but locally, more messing around that looking for serious stuff  Wink

Gambol, I was in Rhodesia from 1974 - 1981 when I moved to South Africa..... I also did my army time in the Rhodesian war, look in my website under hobbies and see all my Rhodesian army stuff I collected while in the army...... Mt. Darwin was a very busy place during that war....
