Hi Guys ! Technologically you are behind ! I should charge you in Gold Kruger Rands for information ! Cheesy For operations on distal parts of arms and legs we are using devices called Tourniquet which is automatically inflated and pressure controlled cuff ( like one for checking blood pressure ). The cuff is put around the proximal part of the arm or leg and inflated to +/- 300mmHg  which obstruct arteries and vains and enaible surgeon to operate in nice , bloodless , area , and also prevent of major blood loose from the patient - clever ? We , doctors , we not so dump after all ?  Shocked Anyway , I still got few secrets in my pocket !  :Smiley
