NO way to fix the darn thing, it has to come out then we have to find a new motor for it and when that's done drop it again and I hate puling out 56m of pipe with a pump on the end of it . it's $#%^&^ heavy not to mention that the weather is up to shit (WILL HAVE TO GET DRUNK TONIGHT) Grin

not to mention that I still have quite a bit of work to do on the detector (actually that's the part that is really getting to me)

Xavier, have a old famous trails with a bad coil. You work with these old units? I dont need it, and unless someone here wants it, its going to the trash. Let me know. Oh, what does it cost to send a detector there?

Pretty sure X and gd helped me with it last year. It a Famous Trails - Chinese knock off. They (the Chinese) did a good job with them as most of the ruskies like the motherboard on this one. I believe the coil connector went bad. I fiddled with it but dropped it as its too fine of work for me. Its at least good for parts. But sure the box works. I have sent anything overseas in a long time. Dont think we are breaking any patent laws by doing so. I have pictures somewhere. Ill try to dig em up.

MD-3006 famous trail. Popped coil open to check circuts. Its good. But thee coil is $40.00 out of California.
