AU, with the new coil it is a magnet for finds Grin

check below a few posts for some of my finds Great

That machine is great to use, best buy I have done so far... The only down side so far is that it picks up coke / coal and shows it has good / bad signal,,,, that is a pain, but other than that I am still on the settings you gave me Cheesy

Peter, coke should come up at +93/95 or zero ish and it will make a funny noise too,

I was watching a movie on YouTube by SCDigger, and in it they found a screw object with a dent in it, I realized it is the same object that I had found.... Turns out to be a hold down screw for a flint musket (photo below) Great

I am even learning from the US Guys in the movies,,,, that is what this hobby is all about Kiss

AU, I went for the 5.3 coil in the end, must swing more and slowly, but it pulls those signals out.... am finding so much more better finds with less junk than before Great

as you can see from the results... That coke is coming up as between "0" and mid "+" numbers which is why it is so strange,,,, with the mid tones though it is erratic, but I dig anyway just in case it is just something small and deep or something on it's side like some of the small buttons. I am not complaining though as coke finds are not often Wise

So far I have about 2.5kg of lead saved up, and about 1/2kg of copper,,,, saving for Xmas Grin

Found lots of musket balls at my site, about 15 in total Funny

Found some silver thin plate, and also a charm or part bell that is silver, so that side is also looking up Kiss
