Well done on your finds Peter they look great. Thanks for all the posts guys I would have liked to have answered them each individually but my eye gets tired very quickly as I can't close it and I have to keep putting eye-drops in it. I will try and post more tomorrow.

Buddy also found a ring, but have no got a good photo yet,,,, this ring is copper but looked like it was gold plated,,,, it is old buddy Great

they should give you a sleeping eye patch or something,,,, you can look like a pirate or something Funny

Took a photo of my ring, it is very old and the stone although not showing nicely is green,,,, could it be emerald Great

I have a gel that I place on a pad then that goes on the open eye, there is no discomfort for sleeping. (My design)

Yes but as far as I can remember it was not done on jewellery till the 1800 and that is not old to European standards.
