Yip, And I know that there is a better chance of having an accident on the way to the beach and all but sharks........I don't want to get eaten by anything !
Here is a bigger pic of the last attack. Gruesome , but it puts that little man on your shoulder that stops you from taking stupid risks.

Ok, another frame that I have put together  Great this is 5 buckles from the small Boer war house, plus the ring from the same spot, and then a horseshoe from another site. All items cleaned and given a coating, the ring is coated with wax, and the buckles are sprayed with clear lacquer.

Wow!  That is a nice bracelet, Viking.  Visting this thread, but have looked in on it before.  I'm from the Blue Mountains of northeastern Oregon, USA!  Poor old Xavier sure gets the hits on this one, doesn't he!  Anyway, congratulations on that find, Viking!    Detecting

Pgill first let me tell you that your frame is looking very good. Now for the bad news all them gold coins that are too deep for your detector to find will be a singe for mine Detecting and the reason why I let you find all them buckles and bullet casings is so that I wont have to pick them up only gold coins, you know those that you went right over with out even knowing about it  Mad Just to give you an example of the superiority in detection depth that I have, is my pin pointer detects a small coin at 150mm yours at 30mm my detector on a low setting will detect a nail at 200mm a bullet casing at 250mm so that you wont feel to bad I wont tell you what it can do on the Hight setting so now any thing you want to add about my detector?  Club Ho must tell you that I am working on a rejection system and I have the possibility to increase my detection depth by about 12%

Viking you are 100% right I can't understand how anyone can be so ignorant about the behaviour of sharks nor why the shark spotters allowed him to go in the water? seems to me that one was ignorant while the other just wanted to prove a point (Excuse the punt) to the arrogant gentleman.

Hi Arfieboy nice of you to come by and visit us. I do hope that it wont be the only time. As you will have noticed we do speak a load of rubbish (Most of the time) but we do get quite serious (At times) too and we definitely take our metal detecting very seriously (All the time) PS thanks for the support

All the best to ya all
Xavier

X, did I tell you about the boost button on my detector  No no! what it does is send out a jammer signal to confuse all other detectors, and increases the depth on mine 4 fold  Clapp Oh, did I forget to tell you about the 10 gold coins I found while you were on the other side of that house  Idea

Interesting article about that house, there is so much hidden in the ground  Wise

Pgill , How does your detector perform through rock?
X jeez bud can't you just hurry up and design a ground penetrating bloody radar that actually gives you a picture of what is the ground in a cubic meter size area.
C'mon theres gotta be a way. If I can build a cnc router then you can pull this off! Lets not mess around anymore, no more swinging the dingeling, just walk and scan! Who needs pinpointers and discrimination and the rest.
