	1925 Bugatti Recovered From Lake « on: January 13, 2010, 10:39:55 am »

Curious, after hearing old stories of rare touring Bugatti pushed in a lake because import taxes not being paid, a diver decided to look for it. Found with air still in the tires.

The 1925 Bugatti was hauled out of the depths of Lake Maggiore. Now it might bring nearly R1-million at auction.

Thank for sharing this Sue its got me thinking as usual if theres any more that the theiving tax men dumped in that lake hehehe
Who knows but one hell of a nice story and a great end to it too... These days there are very skilled restorers and it would not suprise me or anyone else if it was resored to its former glory and finds its way back on the road even as a hot rod with a big 7 litre V8 all chromed up lol

Just my vivid imagination Seldom, Im currently watching an american TV show American Hot Rod and its amazing what those guys do to bring those rust buckets back to life in the form of really amazing creations that any driver would love to own yet alone drive. hehehe We all have our own dreams it takes all sorts to make a world enjoy Seldom enjoy and i know you do hehe
