Only those with a agenda or Numb Brains would sign this thing.

Notice the only way you can post a comment is to sign the Petition?

Reminds me of this one asking to ban Dihydrogen_monoxide.

I watched probably the first show where they dug relics from Tombstone, AZ. I noted that they only dug in private property with owner's permission in exchange for a % of the sales. They actually had a hard time getting permission even when they offered big money for the relics found. Where there was once a wild West town, was now replaced by a modern one. Is it illegal to dig artifacts in private property? I don't know for sure, but it would not surprise me if it is. All I know is that not all land in America is an archaelogical site, yet a lot of our history is buried everywhere. I don't think then that the AD team will excavate in sites that are off limits to us without the proper permission.  No no!

me niether  i say if you have permission dig it and share what you find  before it deteriorates  the no one will see it or it gets paved or concreted over and i agree with you on the arc sites  they want their cake and eat it too but we all know the squeeky wheel gets the oil. its not fair how  we are being portrayed by those who think they know everything and we dont play an just as important part of preserving the past .josey

You are right Josey, millions of historical coins and artifacts become unaccesible due to development. Why no one cares about it except when we want to dig a few of them? Ahhh, cause it is for personal profit. Yeah, because Sue the T-Rex was donated to the Field Museum Grin so that millions of visitors could enjoy history free of charge. Yeah right Want to see Sue?,then pay because it cost millions to the museum! When the Oddisey team found 500 billion in coins close to Spain in 2007,the Spanish and the Peruvian jumped on it and went to court because they also wanted it all. For cultural purposes? Great justification, but a hypocrital one. The truth of the matter is that historical artifacts they all translate into millions of dollars for governments and the rich and powerful. Angry No government will allow you or me to find a 500 billion treasure and keep it all.

Thanks Grey Rider,

Your right, and thanks to Jose and the rest of you fellow Thunters, we need to take a stand and keep our name and our integrity intact without the destroyers trying to tarnish our hobby.

Cheers,
Jim
