" . . Cayces readings described Atlantis as an ancient continent harboring an advanced civilization stretching from the Gulf of Mexico to Gibraltar that was destroyed by an unknown catastrophe in 10,000 B.C. . .  Cayce also said 12,000 gold coins were buried in the inlet that runs between the North and South Bimini Islands.. . . "

It will be interesting to see what the divers find this time. Sue

Cayce also mentioned that Atlantis would surface after WWII. And I ran across an old copy of Argosy magazine, from 1948, and it had an article and color photos in it, showing some strange "man made" features, on the ocean bottom, near Bimini.

I saved it, but am not sure where I stored it, unless someone in the family threw it out years ago...

Melbeta, Interesting about Cayce and them finding formations about the time he predicted. I suppose, if he hadn't been right on at times, we'd have never heard of him. I honestly don't know much about him.

John, I looked to see if anyone else had posted this Atlantis story and didn't see anything recent. Is the one from Dec 17, 09 already on this forum? Sue

Sue I don't recall seeing the story on this forum, I ran across the story on (Jeff Rense. com). On his site if you scroll down the  posted articles by various authors you will see the article title, click it and the story will come up.....I'm checking out for a while, have a nice evening.......John in Va....

Thanks, John - I found it. Pictures and history of other times it has been thought to be found. Searching for funding in this story so they must have the backers now. Finding that in Bimini could help explain some of the mysteries in the lower Americas maybe. Sue

Merry Christmas SS,
OK, let's try to clear up some very interesting things pertaining to Cayce and the Bimini find, and then the underwater mystery in the Caribbean. Cayce said that Atlantis would be found in the Bimini area after, I believe 1948. Dr. Manson Valentine found what many call the Bimini Road in the 1960's. Also some formations that were called temple walls or columns were found in the Bimini area.
I was a member of A.R.E. for sometime, and I studied many of Cayce's readings regarding lost treasures. Some of these searches were followed by great detail according to Cayce's readings. Almost all contained multiple readings given at the time of the searches. There were many, but unfortunately all proved to be false, as nothing was ever found at any location given by Cayce.
Now the mystery in the Caribbean has been cleared up with the revelation that the satellite images showing what appears to be an underwater city was nothing more than a reflection of the circuit board in the camera. Sorry.
Bill
