I will be a very happy man just to see the documentary if any.  Smiley

It was a very big thing at the time in Greece.  Shocked
But no one really know what and how much he ever found.

I would be happy to see it also. As a boy i got to meet Jacques Cousteau at fisherman's warf in San Francisco. Ca.
He was a nice man somewhere in a box around here i have a photo of me and my  brother
standing beside him on board his ship calypso.

I got goose pimples reading this, he was and still is my hero. It was because of him that I became a diver (what a great guy he was)

I believe it was 1972 or 73.  we were in town to visit my grandparents and my parents got word that they were at the warf
so down we went.  My Dad knew someone down there who got us on board and we got a tour of the boat
and then before we got off the boat he came out to meet us and take pictures.
I don't really remember much about the boat other than to me it seemed huge at the time.
And I remember when he came out he had some candy of some sort he gave me and my brother.
That's about all I really remember.

I did start watching all of his TV shows and specials after that.

Jacques documentaries were always interesting and informative , he always came across as a genuine caring man , also was the inventor of SCUBA so a lot of divers owe him plenty ..cheers Mick

Yes you are right, he made it during WW2 using a fire extinguisher he then put together a regulator valve and demand valve with a friend of his that was working on gas regulator valves at the time.
