Ahh the bad publicity for us geocachers. I play but dont hide at local stores. It is better to hide at places you like to go to, like monuments or historical markers or even nature trails. Oh well.

Ive heard of a few of these, and one in particular has went wrong for one player, I had herd on the news that he was going to be charged with several criminal offences. Maybe when playing these games, one avenue may be to give the local authorities a heads up, and see what they suggest, so that people just playing a game dont find themselves in hot water.

I think the charges are way over blown, it was just trinkets in a box after all. Embarrassed
