Invasive mussels threaten Shipwreck Alley
       


Known as Shipwreck Alley, the chilly bottom of Lake Huron's Thunder Bay is dotted with dozens of wrecks that have fallen prey to bad weather and dangerous shoals. Now, a new threat by a tiny menace: invasive mussels.

The zebra mussel infests many reservoir in the US now, even smaller lakes, carried in bilge water of small boats.
