Lost Mines Of The Mogollon Mountains

Named for the Spanish governor of New Mexico from 1712 to 1715, the rugged Mogollon Mountains of southern New Mexico are part of a huge Tertiary-age volcanic complex that covers much of the southwestern quarter of the state.

Thanks, Christian.
Besides having a long mining history and some interesting ghost towns, the Mogollon Mountains are in one of the most beautiful parts of New Mexico (surprisingly so, since a lot of people who haven't spent much time in New Mexico assume the prettiest parts would be up around Santa Fe and Taos rather than down by the Mexican border).
If any of you ever get the chance to visit the area, I'm sure you'll find it worth the trip.
