xavier that happens everyday to me.

One of the few pictures I have of my dad was him standing in front of the Sphinx with the pyramids in the back ground during WWII. I still hope to visit there one day.

Yes that should be a great experience I have a friend retired from Lufthansa that wet to visit the pyramids he told me that they use them (the Egyptians guide) as toilets and that the hieroglyphics that are painted on the walls are very badly decaying. Dam sad when you think about it. 3000 year old pyramids going to dust because some poor sod cant dig a hole in the sand.

Regards Xavier

The same thing happens in Machu Pichu in Peru! The trail going up there looks like a garbage dump and people build fires right beside the walls and it wrecks the walls. Cry

Much of what is taught in schools these days in only what they want you to know to find out the real truth and history you really need to visit libraries and read the old documents not the modern interpretation of what the academics think you ought to know.
You should read Moses in the Heiroglyphs by Alan Wilson.... hmmm did you know that the greek historians made the biggest blunder in history and stuffed up all the dates from Egypt?   hehehe Even the academics find it hard to get their heads around that one lol.

Strangly enough my Father was out there too one of the desert rats, Royal Engineers he was one of the unlucky ones who gave his life so we could have all our tomorrows.. march 1942 shit happens but life still goes on.  I bet he would turn in his grave if he knew what had happend to Britain since Labour got into power and ruined the country?  Shocked

I bet he would turn in his grave.
My dad and many others would also if they know what was going on in the U S and the world for that matter.

I thank your dad and all the men who made our world a better and free place
