interesting theory

Proving it beyond doubt that it is the vessel he belives it is anther story. It would be good if he could find some cannons anchors to support his claims. The timber could of been recycled timber on a much later vessel being transported as part of the cargo. With over 100 shipwreck any one of the could of been carrying the timber.

You're right, it is interesting and not implausible.   But hard to prove one way or another---even with cannon or anchor since you could argue for those being recycled also.

Hello BA

That is true in regards to cannons which can be used on several vessels over time. If they can find the original shipwreck site with articles in situ on that site could in theory support their claims when viewing the evidence wholist-ally. Still no easy task.
