Questions for those in the know. A rough estimate how many known "public" ships are off the Florida coast? And who thinks this is not the best idea. I just am thinking about the tourist who had a few hour introduction to scuba diving and is trying to dive a ship. I took one of those lessons and I know I would not trust myself.

Not sure how many public ships are in the panhandle area.  I think it is a great idea if done right.  If they attach a skill level to different wrecks and choose wrecks with safe penetration.  It's just like anything if you don't know your limits you have a chance to get in trouble.
