Hello Seldom

You could find it tomorrow, photograph the place, mine the gold and announce it on the evening news.

With all that the very next following day there will be someone still out there searching for it. There will always be a eternal optimist out hunting a legendary treasure, real, fake or found.

Some times the legends become more enduring than the real story behind the legend.

And that is what makes these legends so fun.

Ain't that the truth. I just sold some research and maps on Sam Bass to a couple of guys telling them the whole time that what they are looking for is gone but they want believe it. Kind of felt bad till they showed me a LRL they paid 4000 dollars for, they going to have to learn the hard way.

There is a guy on the "other" forum that claims he found it. Don Jose de la Mancha claims he has a permit from the Mexican govt. to exploit the mine. He is just waiting for final permission to start bringing the gold out.

Hello Salvor6

Perhaps he has....

Finding it is one thing, being able to fully exploit it is another.

Dealing with governments is along drawn out process with no guarantees. Developing a viable project is no easy task.

He has been claiming that for several years now with no results. I have gotten mining and treasure permits in Mexico and it takes months not years. But he did have some pictures on one of his threads that were very interesting, so who knows.

Salvor and Hardluck you both know that you don't broadcast any big finds on the net till its in the bank. In my opinion to much information for a project still in the works.
