If you live in the Northern Hemisphere you might have spent the last couple of nights staring up at the night sky searching for shooting stars. The 11-13th August are expected to be great nights for spotting the Perseid Meteor Shower. If you are lucky enough to observe the meteor shower then why not post your sighting to Meteor Watch's <a href="

?

This Google Map is plotting meteor sightings posted on Twitter. To add a sighting to the map tweet your location, hashtag and the number of meteors seen.

For your location tweet your town, village or suburb, followed by which country you are in. Hashtags that work with the map include: #meteorwatch, #perseids, #meteors and #meteorshower. <img src="
