I hope the Treasure Hunter wins , If it was not for the treasure hunter snooping around , the property owners would have never known of the potential Gold cache , the property would again sell again and again , probably worthless swamp land or mud . Governments and people who have no treasure hunting experience of any kind , sure get greedy and want everything for nothing , from someone else's hard work and research........not the first time and it will not be the last . What these kind of stories tell us , over and over is Watch your Back , and cover your tail . Some people want everything for nothing or from someone else's sweat. What in tar nations do you think treasure hunters are?  We want those caches of gold and treasure that somone worked thier bumz off to get and either lost it or it was stolen and lost or something else.   But never let there be a doubt that us treasure hunters are exactly that.  I am.I want to find all that gold people lost.  What about you all?  I am not ashamed of it.   It is just a matter of whom will be the victor in this wild game we play.  Sure , there are crooks out to get it and bend the laws to get it.  That is just a factor of history in all aspects of life.  We have millions of examples in our country.  We could start how the white man ripped off and killed the indians for their land....  It is in our flesh, the evil within.  Only having the spirit of Christ in us can we overcome the dark side and try to do our hobby legally.  sincerly, brother Jim

I remember reading of a treasure seeker using Google to find his search area. He had a hand drawn map of where a river boat had grounded and sank along the shore. After posting the map another user turned the map upside down, then found a match between the shoreline and the map. The original poster later confirmed that it was the right place.
