I may have posted this somewhere else. 1 lb. silver coin. About 3 1/2 inches. Got a good deal on it the other day. But here is photos anyway. I'm staying inside today. Caught some kind of bug. I'm sick.  Thumbs Down

Yep, it's the real thing. 12 troy ounces or 1 troy pound. Had it checked out, it's real. Just like a big silver dollar. US Mint. I'd like to have about 5 or 6 of them. The price of Silver keeps going up. I like it.  Great Great Great

theres a 1997 1 lb silver dollar on ebay auction #230595071466 with 2 days 23 hours left on auction but doesnt say anything about 3 1/2 inchs...cool find!!!

Mine is a 1996. Collector value is far above melt value. I'm happy with what I paid & silver seems to be going UP UP UP ! Great

   With silver being the best place to put my retirement IMO, I think that I would regret not investing in a couple of those a few weeks from now when my tax refund comes in.

  Thanks to the original poster and Mr. Cache for the heads up on this beautiful way to start my high end silver coin collection!
