Go Up Go Down

This bunch of coins represents 3 days of going from park to park in town (Colorado Springs, CO) with my son. We also hunted in the yard as we were trying out the detectors, and as weird as it sounds I found an Australian Large Cent in my front yard. My house was built in 1956. I figured some kid probably took one of dad's coins to school for show and tell and then lost it on the way home. Otherwise I have no idea how it showed up in my yard. I have the coins seperated by denomination and the silver and the large cent are on the right hand side.

The Tesoro detectors are great at finding nickels. My Whites doesn't discriminate between nickels, foil, and believe it or not, rings, but the Tesoro really finds nickels with no mixups.  My son just bought a new Tesoro because he got so good using the micromax I have, and he's got that sucker dialed in.

Hi Dadio,
I also use tesoro, for relic hunting this machine is sooooo light I got on so well with it, as I also have "Carpal Tunnel Syndrome" so swinging a heavier machine cuts down on hunt time (BAD) tesoro (GOOD) I can see why the mints have to keep making small change, "we got it all" ........HH.....Johnnn

Excellent Work Daddio !!  Depending on how Good your Metal Detector model is [top of the line or intermediate] , will determine if the parks you visited are now hunted out/cleaned out  . Let us know if you go back . Thank-You for posting .
