Hello Everyone . I read Minelab discontinued the Quatro because of problems ? And introduced the Safari to take its place . The Safari seems to be outperforming the Old Quatro by leaps and bounds . Thank-You for posting the proof , from a "hunted out area"

I can't speak in comparison as I never owned a Quattro, but I have gotten a solid penny signal 31" inches deep in semi-dry beach sand and I was in disbelief that it detected that penny I searched that hole and no other signal, so it did detech that penny 31 inches deep....that was with the stock pro 11.5 coil. All I have to say is if you get one ya better buy a bigger and longer handle shovel
