There are many but which one is the most recommended to build (best specifications-detection range, depth...)

Im making EE treasure hunter by Mark Stuart now but i dont think it will be so good...its not finnished yet but small coin(1 euro) was detected from around 6 inches..must modify the coil a little...ill paste photos and corrections when done...

Now im thinking about VLF...and need that information so i can start building it...
Thanks for help!

Uros from Slovenia

Hi,
I built the same detector (if it's the Mark Stuart P.I. one with the microprocessor?)
It's pretty good, a Euro coin will normally sound off at around 10 inches.
The coil is actually pretty critical on this design for some reason.
It needs to be exactly as specified or it might lose some depth.
The other thing I found helped a lot was using ultra low capacitance cable between the search coil and board.
There is a link somewhere to a modified program for the processor and some minor board mods which is worth doing.
I'll see if I can track it down.......

Hi,
Here's a pdf document for the microcontroller version...

Also a link (You will need this for the assembler and hex code for the microcontroller)

EE TREASSURE HUNTER

Saludos

Hello, I am inexperienced, I am trying to make the EE Hunting de Mark Stuart. I have seen errors (perhaps they are errors of the sketcher) in the schemes, for example, some components according to the compared electronic scheme with the scheme of the assembly of the components do not agree. Equally already hize; but I have a noise (click) constant to a frequency of about 6 c/s that " tapa" true " click" of detection. To You has happened him this? and it could solve as it? Hoping its answer (favor to send to " eljorgito1@ yahoo.com.ar "), I will inform to him if profit possibly some advance in the search into the good operation of the detector. Greetings
