Hello, my name is Diego and I?m from Uruguay.
I have made a P.I metal detector Mark Stuart 2 with microcontroller 16F84.
The 16F84  is discontinued so I had to change the program to use the 16F628.
This metal detector works very fine, but now I want to try to do a VLF metal detector with descrimination, so I want to know which of all posted metal detector is the beter one?
It is posible to find a complete proyect, with schematic, PCB layout and coil construction?
I want to say Thanks to Eugene52 for all the information that he has posted.

Hello Diego . My apologies no one answered you sooner . I think the best VLF projects to build are the Tesoro Golden Sabre or the Tesoro Eldorado . In a week or so , I will re-post these VLF models in a Final "ready to build" zip folder . Just like I have done with a few PI Metal Detectors . The Golden Sabre and Eldorado are already posted on the forum , but I need to check them for any schematic or pcb errors before I post the Final zip packages .
HH...........Eugene

Greetings,

Have there been any updates on the Tesoro? I did not see any followup on this message, so thought I would ask.

Always too busy with somthing else , coming back later on the subject . Forget it bro . Don't wait for that info . You are never going to get it .  Cornelius

Hello Eugene!
I was out for a long time from the forum.
I was very busy in my job and I can?t finish the proyect, I was working on TGSL proyect and I have the PCB board finished but I didn?t have time to finish the coils.
I will post the program to use 16F628 for Mark Stuart2, in my experience the original PCB Board works perfect I saw in some post that someones have problems with the PCB board.
Regards,

Diego Luca
