Hello guys and gals,

we have just moved the forum to its own server - in the optimistic hope to improve things

As you can see there is unfortunately still some bug fixing required (picture upload is not yet working, messages aren't getting marked read) ...

... but how about the good points?

Has the forum speed increased for?

Christian, I've been through server migrations that had more problems (and more serious problems) than we're experiencing with this migration....and in some of those cases, the company owned and maintained all the servers themselves.

Christian the only thing i see missing is the spell check for the reply messages.

and after u read a message and click on unread posts it does not allways change to show that you read any. and the messages are still there in the posts instead of disapearing like they use to.

Other than that it's great so far speed is good.

Much faster then we had.

Before, If I posted a repley it would take up to two or three minutes to take me back to the Thread.

My comments would be misleading. Being on the Singapore trunk via the rest of Asia means that no matter where I go on the Internet outside of Australia, it's not going to be blazingly fast. I can see no noticeable difference on my ADSL2+ line.

Thanks all for your feedback so far.

I think all of teh bugs related to the server move have been fixed.

There are still some old bugs on the forum and they will be fixed within the next couple of days, too.
