   He needs to do some home work.   I can name a pile of Formidable PI Detectors but you know how that goes.  All are current or recent manufactured.   All are on the Market Used and at more then a fair Price.   :Smiley

   Whites Surf PI is a Killer and can be had used for a Song.  Garrett's Can be had at a good price but only good for 10ft or so.  Fisher has one that seems to be a bit rare but are fine machines.  You would think Fisher would be on top as they was the first aquatic machines.  

  If you have the Know How and Time you can build a light version of the Surf PI with a Kit from Silverdog.  You could build one for less then  $100.00 water tight down to 100 ft.
