It was found on european farmland, it probably is a medieval find

not an african in sight for miles and miles in those days  Wink

Its very small, like the loop on a fishing rod, or medieval ,maybe for sizing arrow shafts.

Looks like a piece that comes out of the top of a sword, the hilt decor or maybe a sight from a trajectory weapon. Just a thought. Love to hear what it actually turns out to be.
