just new on this site, found it while looking for answers, my dad who now resides in mindanao came for the holiday season and brought this thing of some sort, someone told him that it was a map (japanese treasure) of some sort. This is like a box (asbestos  or cement like kind of some sort) no openings but full of japanese characters dating back WW II. anyone who knows how to decipher the images?

Hello, it is for sure of Japanese origin as there is Japanese Kanji and a Kikumon. But it is NO treasure map. However it looks more like a form for possibly producing gold bars.

Not sure of its purpose, but it definitely is of a cryptic or secretive design.

Small images, need larger photo's and some size info...      At first they apeared to me as if they were plastic model pieces. The royal flower makes it Japanese.
