Hi all. Back from my trip in Puerto Rico. No gold/silver found, but lots of fun for sure. I found this tag at an old building. I think the tag was there prior to the construction (4-6"), but I have no idea what was it used for. My guess is that it was livestock or probably a valve tag. It has a number 64(?) engraved onto it. The building was a cultural center founded in 1963. Any ideas?

Hey Cyber good to see you.

Looks like a property tag for lockers are baskets. Did the cultural center have a pool or workout center?

Hi Seldom! No, no pools. The center is a rather small building with a small backyard. I don't think it has lockers inside. The tag has nothing on the back. Thanks

Could it be like a room key fob?   Shocked

If it's copper , or like soak the crusties off it with vinegar.

There may be writing on it.

Maybe, it could be a key fob. Although not currently in use, the public building belongs to the municipality and has several outer entries requiring different keys. The inside may also have a number of rooms with keyed doors, although no more than 3 or 4 rooms are possible in the small building.  Great

Hi Homefire! Yes, it is copper but no more markings present on the tag. Just the number 64.

Dude you are in trouble now. (nice version;))  That is one of those tags like on bed mattress that says it's unlawful to remove the tag.

Cheesy The tags on mattresses are unlawful to remove by anyone except the owner. Yeah, I removed the tag from the 6" underground. Maybe the CIA is looking for me now  Grin
