Hey everyone,

The past two times I've used my MXT-300 it has been overloading for know reason.  The only way to stop it is to decrease the gain, then it stops overloading.

The first time this happened, I couldn't have my gain above 5, the last time, I couldn't go above 7.

Any ideas?

yes mate, Have you put your coil in water lately? also check that the cable nut on the coil is tight, If it has been in water try undoing the cable nut and placing the coil in a window for a few day (3 or 4) to dry out other than that give whites a call and they will help, I you have got water in it dry it our and put some silicone sealer under the thread and tighten the cable nut back up and see if that works, but dont forget to call White, I know they will fix it for you,  good luck
