OK, I'm not saying that you are wrong but what do you do? Please imagine this. " You drive to the Ardennes, begin hunting for relics, not live ammo, before you leave for home you have dug 300 holes and found some very nice relics but within those 300 holes are 50 that contain possible unexploded objects in an area of several sq km's, how do you tell authorities where the florecent paint could be? Or do you think it is better to carry any unexploded stuff around with you untill you are finished, and then ring the authorities when you find a place that can be found? Or! maybe you think it is better to abandon your holiday the minute you find something suspect? This message is not sarcastic, this message is sincere.
Please don't try and threaten me again. Huh?
Greetings Dave

You have already gotten the attention of the moderators here. This isn't a threat but you cannot continue to suggest unsafe practices here or anywhere else and expect to get a pat on the back. You do not need to cut a vacation short but you cannot expect anyone here to condone the reburying of unexploded ordnance. Your solution choices are quite elegant. Quit hunting there as it is dangerous to you and others. Or, choose to dispose of unexploded ordnance properly. If you feel threatened, imagine how a child would feel if he managed to play with some of your discarded items that are too dangerous for YOU to handle.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.
