Alain; checked out the videos, thanks. My hardest part of detecting is pinpointing and recovery, so might look into the concentric coil for the XP Goldmaxx Power.

OK, GMP V4

9 inch coil
Sens at 12 to 1 o?clock, if it starts to fart about, back off till stable.
Ground Reject 11 to 12 o?clock, if it gets unstable increase very slightly towards 1 o?clock.
Iron Reject 8 to 10 o?oclock
Iron Volume 10 to 12 o?clock
Silencer 2 on very clean ground, slow sweep, 1 on normal ground, normal sweep, 0 on very naily or iron infested ground (Highest recovery speed), normal sweep till target located then slow down to pin point.
Pin point via the X method.
Frequency 0 if no headphones, otherwise 1 or 2. If you use Wireless headphones, ensure that you choose 1 or 2, and insert a blanking plug into the headphone socket, otherwise the speaker will be on too.

Lots of luck Ray
