i am advising you and all others out there not to dig without the use of detecting equipment. sayang ang kwarta.  there should be people in your area who own detectors and gprs since there are a lot of yamashita treasure hunters in every province.  sharing the find with them is like sharing your cigarette considering the price of gold nowadays.  approach a treasure hunter in your area.  he might be able to help.  the most dangerous part of treasure hunting is retrieval so prepare well for it. before you find the treasure there is not much danger (only cave in, bomb, poison, and other traps hehe)

You have permanent markers in your Th site but quite complicated, you cannot start digging by the markers only, you need a good locator.
I am from davao city, mindanao. I have a friend I can recommend to zero your digging and even to estimate the deepness.

kaya naman kahit nawalang detector basta marunong ka lang bumasa ng sign at alam mo ang sukat .di lahat ng marker ay nan dyan na may mga sukat pa yan o bearing dapat may compass kapa,kahit na may detector kapa kung di mo alam tamang sukat di mo makukuha yung laman!!!!1 1/2 meter pag na hukay ka may makukuha kang sign o marker ang kalimitan  na unang sign na makikita mo ay puso!!!iba iba ang mga paraan ng hapon they use triangulation method...at even number ginagamit nila puzzle palagi pag 777 may 3 bomba silang nilalagay'' kalimitan na marker nila ay bato kasi di basta nabubura!pag puno naman yung mga fruit bearing tree o yung inaalagaan ng tao,,pag kweba naman kalimitan parang pa "y"ang style pero di lahat ng laman ay nasa loob lalo na pag bukas
